Ahh...A Slice of Heaven at the DiLorenzo's: A rest day in Banning

Sorry folks, no pain and suffering today. We woke up late, and Vincie made us pancakes. Vincie is taking such good care of us. She was scheduled to attend a conference about Thalasemia with Carmen and Paul today, but changed her plans just for us. She did our laundry and then took us shopping for things we needed and made a wonderful Italian dinner. What a generous person.

Paul was here for dinner too, and it was nice to see him again. Then, we got to see Carmen's plans for some homes he is building. He puts so much thought into the design of each home and can visualize every detail before it exists. It must be something to be that talented.

We will hit the trail again tomorrow. Tune in next time for further adventures as we leave Banning and head North to Big Bear.
